Edgemont's Second-Quarter Lifts Them to Win

PEARL RIVER, N.Y. – Edgemont’s five-goal second quarter propelled them past Pearl River in a 9-3 win in Thursday's boys lacrosse match.

The Panthers took a 6-2 advantage into halftime and extended that lead to 8-3 by the end of the third quarter. They tacked on one more goal for good measure in the fourth quarter, in which Pearl River never scored.

Jared Simon had six of the Panthers’ nine goals in the game and also led the team in assists with three. Trevor Ortega had seven saves for Edgemont.
