ELMSFORD, N.Y. -- The Elmsford Little League will host its annual Awards Ceremony & Picnic on Sept. 8 at DeLuca Park beginning at 11 a.m.
The local Little League, which has been in existence since 1953, will present trophies to all players on the Spring 2012 championship teams in AA, AAA and the Majors age group divisions. Trophies also will be awarded to ELLs District 20 Seniors
Elmsford's Tournament Team Champions and the club's annual Arciola, Lydon and Piccoli Awards will also be announced.
Hot dogs, burgers, salads and soft drinks will be served and a wiffle ball game and other activities will follow the ceremonies.
The rain date for the event is Sept. 9 and those who are attending may visit the club's website for further updates at www.elmsfordlittleleague.org. Deluca Park is at North Hillside Avenue and Frontage Street in Elmsford.
