Hamilton Girls Basketball Rolls Past Keio School

PURCHASE, N.Y. – Maia Hood led the way with a game-high 22 points Friday as the visiting Alexander Hamilton girls’ basketball team rolled over the Keio School 57-11.

The Red Raiders rebounded from a loss to powerful Ossining a week ago to run their record to 14-2.

Hamilton opened with a 17-0 first-quarter blitz and continued with a stifling defense that allowed just three points in the second quarter to open a 26-3 halftime lead. Hamilton outscored Keio 25-8 in the second half.

Amani Lightbourne scored eight points and Jasmine Robinson and Ayanna Bhagan each contributed six points for the winners.

Hood leads the Raiders in scoring with 23 points per game and Robinson and Lightbourne are each scoring 13 per game.

Sae Toyomura led Keio with four points.

The Raiders next host Rye Neck Monday at 6:15 p.m.
