The Red Raiders (18-4) meet Harpursville (19-3) at 12:30 p.m. at Hudson Valley Community College with the winner meeting either AuSable Valley (20-3) or Bishop Kearney (17-8) in the state championship on Sunday at 1:45 p.m.

Hamilton, who has played through the local Section1 and regional playoffs without injured  star Maia Hood, is led by seniors Tiffany Corselli, Kali Gill and Jasmine Robinson.

The Reed Raiders depend on a strong defense, keeping opponents to under 40 points in each of their six postseason games.

Harpursville has held its opponents to 32.5 points per game, so expect a defensive battle and a low-scoring game.

Hamilton has been a team of destiny so far, despite not having Hood in the lineup. The Red Raiders will advance in a close game.
