SLEEPY HOLLOW, N.Y. -- More than 2,000 fans filled the stands and sidelines at Sleepy Hollow High School on Saturday for the annual Homecoming football game between the host Horsemen and visiting rival Ossining.
The famed Headless Horseman visited the game before kickoff and at halftime riding on to the field on horseback to inspire the home team to a thrilling 41-32 victory. For the story on the game, click here.
Homecoming festivities including presentation of the King and Queen and company, a visit from the Class of 1983 and presentation of the class banners made for Sleepy Hollow's Spirit Week
"Both teams are well-coached and can score. But this event has been great," Sleepy Hollow Athletic Director Chuck Scarpulla said.
The teams exchanged the lead through the first half with Sleepy leading 21-20 at halftime.
