Woodlands Boys Balanced Attack Defeats Yonkers

GREENBURGH, N.Y. – Fred Bowers scored a team-high 13 points to lead a balanced Woodlands boys basketball team to a convincing 75-33 victory over visiting Yonkers High School Wednesday.

The Falcons won their third straight game, including a victory over previously-unbeaten Dobbs Ferry, and upped their record to 8-3 on the strength of a team effort in which 10 of the 11 players on the team scored at least two points.

The Woodlands offense opened quickly and led 32-13 at halftime before pulling away in the second half.

D’Andre Tilford scored 11 points and Reece Williams and Andre Scipio contributed 10 points apiece for the Falcons. Tiberius Lofton added eight points and James Cole scored seven for the winners.
