Woodlands Girls Basketball Team Beats Pleasantville In Double OT

GREENBURGH, N.Y. -- Woodlands High School girls basketball team earned a double-overtime win against Pleasantville High School, according to a report by The Examiner.

The Woodlands squad posted a 71-65 victory on Pleasantville's home court, the report said. 

Pleasantville forced the first overtime on a three-pointer at the buzzer against Woodlands, however Woodlands kept calm and stuck to the game plan, as Pleasantville scored at the last second again for the second overtime, the report said. 

Woodlands player Teisha Hyman, made 24 points, including 12 in the two OT sessions, the report said. Jasmine Michaux, Woodlands player, ended the game with 12 points, along with Kalena Menard, the report said. Woodlands player Mariah Cherry added 22 points.
