Williams, a reserve sophomore guard with the No. 16 seed Great Danes, did get a chance to be on the floor late in the second half of a 67-55 loss in the second round of the tournament.

Albany (19-15) defeated Mount St. Mary in Tuesday's opening round game in Dayton, Ohio, then traveled to Orlando, Fla., to meet the nation's top-ranked and heavily-favored Gators.

The Danes led 19-15 early in the game and trailed by just six points at halftime.
