Woodlands Tops Pleasantville in Elmsford Classic

ELMSFORD, N.Y. – The Woodlands Falcons girls’ basketball team opened an early 15-point lead and rolled to a 46-27 victory over Pleasantville in Thursday’s opening round of the Elmsford Class basketball tournament at Alexander Hamilton High School.

Imani Tilford and Shanice Perry each had a game-high 15 points for the Falcons and Nicole Brooks added eight points for the winners.

Woodlands (1-0) will meet the winner of Friday’s game between host Hamilton and Port Chester in the Saturday’s championship final at 5 p.m., while Pleasantville (0-1) will play the loser in the consolation game.

The Falcons grabbed a 31-12 halftime lead and coasted in the second half when the teams each scored 15 points.

Zaria Cobb had a team-high 13 points for Pleasantville.
