Greenburgh Labor Day Closings

GREENBURGH, N.Y. - The following businesses and government offices will be closed Monday in observance of Labor Day:

Library closings - Closed Labor Day: Greenburgh Public Library, 300 Tarrytown Rd. in Elmsford; Ardsley Public Library, 9 American Legion Dr.; Dobbs Ferry Public Library , 55 Main Street; and Warner Library, 121 N. Broadway in Tarrytown.

Jeanne Reid, 93, Retired Ardsley Librarian

ARDSLEY, N.Y. – Jeanne Kircauldy Wood Reid of Ardsley died May 7. She was 83. 

A retired reference librarian, Reid worked at the Ardsley School District library. 

A daughter of John and Robina Wood, she was born in North Tarrytown. She married Alexander Reid on Aug. 20, 1948 in North Tarrytown. Reid also worked as a reference librarian for Warner Library ...
