An accident that initially blocked the left lane caused stop-and-go traffic on
a stretch of the northbound Sprain Brook Parkway near the Taconic State Parkway on Saturday afternoon.
Traffic was backed up to Route 100C following the crash, which occurred shortly after 1 p.m.
