The New York State Department of Transportation announced that beginning on Monday, July 9, through Saturday, Aug. 4, there will be a single-lane closure with alternating traffic on Route 120 (King Street) in New Castle, between Route 117 (South Bedford Road) and Ridgewood Terrace.

The closures are expected to take place between 9 a.m. and 8 p.m. on weekdays, with closures between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Saturdays during the scope of the project. During the closures, the NYSDOT warned that motorists can expect delays and should seek alternate routes, when possible.

During the project, there will be detours posted and flaggers are expected in the area to expedite the flow of traffic.
