Station Road will be closed near Brook Place beginning on Monday, Aug. 7 as the village replaces a culvert. Contracting work is scheduled to begin Monday, with work expected to last an estimated eight weeks.
Homeowners east of the construction site on Station Road will need to gain access to the roadway from South Broadway through the tunnel. Residents west of the site along Station Road, Oak Street, Willow Street, Maple Street, Woodbine Road and Brook Place will need to gain access from South Buckhout Street.
Officials noted that the closures have already been coordinated with emergency service units, public works and the Irvington School District.
