Greenburgh is still a very beautiful community. This is a very sad story, more so because of the six children involved. Greenburgh police should bump up their efforts. Unfortunately some poor people are desperate and will resort to illegal activity. The police need to be more vigilant to protect us law-abiding residents. View Comment
PLANET PIZZA! Hands down, every time! Their regular pizza slice, grandmas pizza and chicken Caesar salad are our family staples. I'm surprised they're left out of this article. Perhaps this is the overwhelming 24% of Other in the poll? View Comment
Fortunately, I'm not interested in what other schools/districts are doing. I pay taxes here, my children are educated here, they both can read well-they were doing so when coming out of ECP into Lee F. Jackson (pre-k to K, ages 4-5).
So, although the experience/view of some has been poor or we 'compare' poorly, I'm happy and proud to see stories of the public school children of Greenburgh. View Comment
That's not nice Greenburger. Renters bring income into Greenburgh and their rents pay toward taxes as well.
Overall, Hartsdale is not Scarsdale nor is it Edgemont or Fairview. All three unincorporated places (Hartsdale, Edgemont and Fairview) are uniquely distinct and deserve their own recognition for 'excellence'. No one is ever sure if referring to 'Greenburgh' is a reference to one or more of the three unincorporated places, one or more of th six villages or some combination of such. Reporters should be clear about their geographical reference when reporting. This article was clear that it was about unincorporated Hartsdale.
