There is a 60 percent chance of rain Saturday, mostly after 2 p.m. and continuing into the evening. New precipitation amounts between a quarter and half of an inch are possible.
When the sun does peek out, temperatures may reach a high of 65, the service says.
Sunday won’t be much better, with showers likely before noon and highs of 68 degrees.
The raindrops will continue to fall on Monday and Tuesday, mostly in the afternoon, the service predicted.
Wednesday will be mostly sunny, with summer-like temperatures of 80.
But the skies over our region start to cloud up again Wednesday night and there may be more showers and thunderstorms on Thursday, the weather service said.
