The Field Library Celebrates 'Make A Difference Day' For Children

PEEKSKILL, N.Y. -- “Make a Difference Day” is being celebrated at The Field Library in Peekskill from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.

Children of all ages are invited to pick out a free stack of books for their home library.

The program is hosted by “Peekskill Reads,” which is headed by Drew Claxton. 

“Men Who Read” volunteers will be on hand to read stories to children. 

Refreshments will be served. 

There also will be a tag sale from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the library's plaza.
