The remains of Judy Garland, most famous for her role as Dorothy in "Wizard of Oz," have been moved from a mausoleum at Ferncliff Cemetery -- where she had been entombed since 1969 -- to Forever Cemetery in Hollywood, according to multiple news accounts.

Tuesday's flight from New York's JFK Airport to Los Angeles International Airport reportedly was arranged by Garland's 70-year-old daughter, Liza Minnelli.

The transfer was made because there isn’t enough space at Ferncliff Cemetery in the Town of Greenburgh for Garland's three children and grandchildren to be buried alongside her, People reported.

Garland's other children are Lorna Luft, 64, and Joey Luft, 61.

She’ll be placed in the Beth Olam section at the star-studded Hollywood cemetery where other celebrities are also buried, according to TMZ and the Los Angeles Times.

Garland died at age 47 of a barbiturate overdose. While thousands lined up to view her body before the funeral, Garland's fifth husband, Mickey Deans, told The New York Times why he chose New York instead of Los Angeles as her — apparently not final — resting place.

“Judy's always wanted to be wherever I am, and my home is here and in London and I didn't want her where tourist buses and that sort of thing go through," Deans said at the time of her death.
