WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. - Members of the Lost Pets of Westchester County are eagerly asking for the community’s assistance as they attempt to reunite a pair of dogs with their families in Greenburgh.
On Monday afternoon, two lost dogs were recovered by officials in the vicinity of Ashford Avenue in Dobbs Ferry, who are now hopeful of helping them find their owners.
According to Lost Pets of Westchester, one of the dogs was picked up by animal control, and the other - which may be deaf - escaped from its leash and took off. A local mailman in the area reported to officials that he recognized photos of the dogs, who have been seen crossing Ashford Avenue in Dobbs Ferry.
