Ardsley Police Test Capsules Found in School

ARDSLEY, N.Y – A nurse at Ardsley High School gave police a bag found in the school's hallway Tuesday that was filled with unknown capsules.

The bag is being tested in the laboratory and police said the capsules could be anything from legal vitamins to controlled substances.

A MacBook was taken from Ardsley High School, said police. The laptop was last seen in August, but wasn't reported as missing until Tuesday afternoon.

A resident on Heatherdell Road called police Friday at about 10 p.m. to report two men dressed in camouflage. The resident said the men looked suspicious. Police canvassed the area but could not find the men.

On Saturday night, police received a noise complaint on Taft Lane. Upon arriving at the house, police found a party and asked them to quiet down. The party-goers agreed.

A Heatherdell Road resident called police to report a suspicious phone call on Tuesday about government performance. The caller said the Ardsley resident had won a free trip and needed personal information to make the prize official. The resident hung up the phone, thinking it was a scam.
