Greenburgh Hears Plans For 100 Acre Hotel, Retail Complex

GREENBURGH, N.Y. -- The Greenburgh Town Board heard plans Thursday for a proposed 100-acre hotel and retail business project at the Landmark at Eastview property that could yield millions in tax revenue.

Eastview Holdings LLC presented it plans for a 110-room hotel, bio-tech center and retail shopping center to property located at Old Saw Mill River Road less than a mile from the Saw Mill River Parkway.

The Town of Greenburgh will hold a public hearing on the plan on June 12 and it may take up to . several months to vote on the project, which could begin sometime within the next two years.

The developers, who own the land where Regeneron, a major bio-tech company, is located. The plans also include a gas station and bank.

Officials say the project will generate up to $7 million a year in tax revenue.
