Locations affected by the filming include Irvington Woods, the O’Hara Nature Center, the Irvington Reservoir and police gun range along Cyrus Field Road, Village Hall and the Irvington Public Library.
The Irvington Woods trails parking lot will be unavailable from Monday to Wednesday, with alternating lane closures on Cyrus Field Road planned for Monday and Tuesday.
The O'Hara Nature Center will be closed Tuesday, with the parking lot unavailable from Monday to Wednesday.
The village clerk's office at Village Hall will be inaccessible from Tuesday to Thursday, with staff available in the courtroom during business hours. A few offices will be inaccessible on Wednesday: the administrator’s office, the Building Department and the Tiffany Room.
Library parking will be limited Wednesday, with regular hours in place until 5 p.m. Patrons are asked to avoid driving or parking in the area.
The filming is expected to last a week, with more production work expected next month.
According to Variety, "The Girl on the Train" stars Emily Blunt as "Rachel, a woman devastated by her recent divorce who spends her commute fantasizing about a seemingly perfect couple who live in a house that her train passes every day."
The film is currently planned for nationwide release on Oct. 7, 2016.
