ELMSFORD, N.Y. - Kathleen M. Batchie, a lifelong resident of Elmsford, died Oct. 14. She was 65.
Batchie was born Dec. 17, 1948, in Brooklyn, to Hugh and Ella (Duggan) Gallagher. She was a life member of the Elmsford Fire Company #1 Ladies Auxiliary.
Batchie is survived by her daughter, Kerry Batchie; son, Mark (Jackie) Batchie both of Elmsford; sisters, Anne Povella, Ellen Zimkin and Mary Craig; brothers, Hugh, Stephen and Brian Gallagher. She was predeceased by her husband, Larry, Jr.; son, Larry, III.; and brother, Gordon Gallagher.
Calling hours are Thursday, Oct. 16 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Hawthorne Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 17 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Elmsford. Interment at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Greenburgh.
