WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- Micah Justin Orifici, 42, of Waccabuc, the founder of EduTek Ltd. in Mamaroneck, died suddenly on June 30.

Orifici was born in White Plains, on Jan. 16, 1975. He attended Woodlands High School in Greenburgh, then Columbia University where he graduated in 1996 with a bachelor of science in Civil Engineering. He founded EduTek Ltd., a thriving educational technology company in Mamaroneck in 1995.

He married his college sweetheart, Cheryl (Pak) on Oct. 5, 1996, and was devoted to his children, Madison Camille and Christian Justin.

Orifici is the son of J. Michael and Deborah Orifici of Waccabuc, the big brother of Matthew Jared (and Maria) of Scarsdale, and his predeceased brother Mark.

He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and countless friends in the Lewisboro and Scarsdale Congregations of Jehovah's Witnesses and so many others that loved him.

The burial and memorial services will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Worldwide Orphan Foundation, wwo.org or JW.org .

Orifici will be remembered for his passion, kindness, hospitality, and generosity. His faith and hope are summed up in his favorite scripture Isaiah 40:31, "But those hoping in Jehovah will regain power. They will soar on wings like eagles…"
