Greenburgh Police Seek Suspect In Bank Robbery Attempt

GREENBURGH, N.Y. -- Greenburgh Police are investigating an attempted robbery at a Chase bank in Greenburgh on Wednesday, Oct. 22, officials said.

Officers said the suspect was described as a thin built male standing approximately 5-feet, 11-inches wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with his face covered, police said. 

The suspect entered that bank at 409 Tarrytown Road,  and handed a note to a teller demanding money, police said. 

The suspect fled the scene on foot and did not take any money with him, police said.
