Linda Lacewell, who came back to Cuomo’s administration after leaving in 2016 is set to take over as the chief of staff and as a counselor, according to a New York State of Politics report.

Comella made a name for herself nationally while working for Republican politicians Sarah Palin and New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie. She is expected to stay on the staff through the next “State of the State” address, which is planned for early next year. Lacewell will serve as a counselor and advisor until then.

Politico first reported that Lacewell was returning to the administration following her 2016 departure.
