GREENBURGH, N.Y. — The Elmsford Union Free School District (USFD) is working with parents to keep teens safe over the Halloween holiday, reminding them it is a heightened time for drug and alcohol use.

Utilizing the online resource Power to the Parents, UFSD warns the community that increased drug and alcohol usage, combined with unsupervised Halloween parties makes for a dangerous situation. The website offers facts, tips and strategies to help parents navigate teenagers and substance use.

For more information see Power to the Parents website or call the school district at 914-592-8440.
