The protest, organized by Elmsford Parents for Education, took place at the intersection of Route 119 and Route 9A in the village.
Students in grades 3 through 8 began taking state tests in English-language arts and math on Tuesday, with the ELA test taking place through Thursday. The math assessment will be given on April 24 to 26.
Protesters held up signs saying "Support Schools, not greed," "Children are not numbers" and "Choose to refuse testing!"
