GREENBURGH, N.Y. -- Shehnaz Hirji, a teacher at Greenburgh's Woodlands middle and high schools, filed a lawsuit in federal court on Tuesday alleging former middle school principal Brodrick Spencer sexually harassed her during a two-year period in which administrators took no action, according to a report by LoHud.com .
In the suit, Hirji claims Spencer harassed her between 2012 and October 2014, when he filed a complaint with the district, the report said.
The suit was filed against Spencer and Interim Superintendent Tahira Dupree-Chase nine months after she was among 10 plaintiffs who sued then-Superintendent Ronald Ross for creating a hostile work environment that was filled with comments regarding religious, racial and sexual issues, the report said.
