11 Olympic Lane, Ardsley, N.Y. 10502 914-693-8985 Greenburgh Recreation facilities include Greenburgh Nature Center and the Theodore D. Young Community Center and a Fitness Center. The department maintains 600 acres of parkland, ball fields, nature preserves, playgrounds, tennis courts, ponds and outdoor pools, including a new interactive kiddie pool. The department offers classes and activities in youth, teen and adult programs, athletic leagues for young people adults, summer and winter day camps for children, programs for the developmentally disabled, and trips and special programs for teens. An after-school program meets at the community center. The Office for the Aging coordinates services and classes and activities for senior citizens, and a town-wide nutrition program. The Arts and Culture Committee also offers free monthly programs for people of all ages. The recreation department also participates in events cooperatively with other departments such as the library, community center and Nature Center.
