A serious motor-vehicle crash resulted in the closure of southbound Saw Mill River Road (Route 9A) in Elmsford early Sunday afternoon.
Additional ambulances were called to the scene of the incident, which occurred near Route 119 around 12:30 p.m.
There were also backups nearby on the southbound Saw Mill River Parkway at Route 119.
