$4M Lottery Ticket Sold In Revere; Other Winning Tickets In Mass Expire Soon
It was a very lucky weekend for one Bay Stater after they bought a $10 scratch-off lottery ticket in Revere that paid out $4 million. But luck is running out for two others because they are almost out of time to turn in their winning ticket before those tickets become worthless pieces of paper. The ticket in Revere was sold on Friday, April 12, at Elia's Food Market, 4 Park Ave. The winner played the "$4,000,000 Mayhem," claiming the last grand prize for that game. $100K Lottery Ticket Sold In Worcester
It was a very lucky Monday, April 8, for one Bay Stater after they won $100,000 in the Massachusetts State Lottery. The six-figure ticket was for the $30 scratch-off game "$15,000,000 Money Maker." It was purchased at Shaw's at 14 W Boylston St. in Worcester. The winner's name was not released, but the store will receive a bonus for the sale. Some Of The Bests Photos Of The Eclipse Taken Across Massachusetts
While Massachusetts was not in the "totality zone" for Monday afternoon's solar eclipse, it still was a monumental event. Many Bay Staters snapped and shared impressive photos of the rare celestial event. The zone of totality, where 100 percent of the sun was blocked by the moon, was a little more than 100 miles wide and stretched from Mexico to Maine. That means most of Massachusetts got about 90-93 percent blockage, with the increase being in the western part of the state.
