31-Year-Old Woman ID'd As Victim Killed In Route 27 Crash A 31-year-old Franklin Township resident was killed in a crash last week in Central Jersey. Kristen Drayton was identified as the driver of the southbound vehicle that had slammed into a tree on Route 27 near Reler Lane just after 8:05 a.m. on Thursday, May 9 in Franklin Township, Somerset County Prosecutor John McDonald said. Barnegat police responded to a wooded area between Warren Grove Road and Route 72 at around 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 11, the department said in a Facebook post. Investigators said a 52-year-old man hit an exposed root and was thrown from the motorcycle. He was rushed by helicopter to Jersey Shore University Medical Center. The motorcyclist suffered a broken femur and was listed in stable condition at the Neptune hospital.
