A 23-year-old Perkasie man was fatally injured in a car accident on his way to work Monday, Aug. 28, according to authorities and loved ones. Owen Orser was headed north on Richlandtown Pike in Springfield Township around 4 a.m., state police said in a release. He lost control of his Volkswagen Jetta while negotiating a righthand curve and entered the oncoming lane before hitting a tree, troopers wrote. The remains of a boy discovered in a West Philadelphia dumpster last week have been identified, according to city police. The boy in the dumpster has been identified as 12-year-old Hezekiah "Hezzy" Bernard, authorities announced on Aug. 31. Bryce C. Fisher, the Sellersville motorcyclist who died in a crash in Hatfield Township on Saturday, Aug. 26 leaves behind one son, according to loved ones. He was 21. Fisher and a 66-year-old driver in a Dodge Ram 1500 collided on Bethlehem Pike near Township Line Road, authorities have said. An 11-year-old Amish boy was struck dead on Friday, authorities say. Samuel K. Fisher of Peach Bottom was riding a non-motorized scooter in the 1500 block of Slate Hill Road in Drumore when he was hit by a passing car on Aug. 25, the authorities told Daily Voice.
