Authorities are investigating a homicide in West Philadelphia early Wednesday morning, May 1. Police said a 67-year-old woman was stabbed in a home on the 300 block of Cobbs Creek Parkway around 2 a.m. The victim was stabbed in the abdomen and right hand "by a perpetrator known to her," PPD said. Officials were called to a Kennett Township home on the 600 block of Chandler Mill Road around 2:45 p.m. for reports of a missing 5-year-old boy who had autism, local police said.
